The Siberian Collection – A New Perspective is a scientific project to investigate the over 100-year-old MEK Siberian collection. As a result of research conducted between 2016 and 2019, the collection is now accessible in a digital repository along with audio and video materials from the field and the available archive data.
The elements of the Siberian collection produce surprising stories which bring together the fates of people and objects.
In the course of our research we have visited various locations where the items come from. The films and stories show the world they were made in.
