The collection of the Ethnographic Museum of Kraków is over one hundred years old and includes the testimonies of people living in different times and cultures. The core of the collection is made of objects from the territories of pre-Second World War and contemporary Poland. However, collections from other countries and parts of the world are of no lesser value and importance.

It is worth exploring these resources, of which only a small part is displayed through the Museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions.

An inquiry into the Museum’s collection can be surprising, astonishing, illuminating and often opens new, unexpected worlds.

You do not have to be a professional researcher. It is enough to be curious about different cultures.
